Excavations at Tell Sabi Abyad

Excavations take place at Tell Sabi Abyad each year. Usually the archaeologists are at work between August and October. The team consists of about 25 persons: archaeologists, specialists in other fields, and students. On the spot the team is assisted by ca. 60 local, Syrian workmen.
